The Tokyo International Film Festival presented new Award


The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) presented a new award sponsored by WOWOW, Japan´s leading premium pay TV broadcaster.

The Tokyo International Film Festival announced this month that WOWOW will sponsored a new award called “WOWOW Viewer’s Choice Award”. This price will be given to a movie in competition and will consist of ten thousand dollars.

The jury for this price will consist of six subscriber viewers of WOWOW´s broadcasting channels. Subscribers who would like to be considered as a member of the “selection committee” are requested to enter in the WOWOW official website and sign in.

WOWOW and Tokyo International Film Festival will continue to work together on future projects to contribute to the development of Japan´s film culture.
