The New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF) has finally ended and we have the winners of this year edition.
Last Sunday (August 3rd) the activities of the New Zealand International Film Festival come to an end. The festival last twenty days and present a wide catalogue with almost 170 films. The interesting thing about this festival is that is presented in two cities Auckland and Wellington.
This year the big winner of the festival was the short movie “Ross & Beth” directed by Hamish Bennett that got three of the four major prizes. The film won the Best New Zealand Short Film Award, the Allen Guilford Cinematography Award and the Audience Award.
The other winner this year was “Eleven” that received the The Friends of Civic Short Film Award for creative achievement by the director Abigail Greenwood.
